Dr. Ed Shoemaker created the environment for victory in our adoptive family. His calm demeanor and matter-of-fact approach, utilizing tools to help families communicate and gain understanding, was a very important part of our Adoption journey. We value the time spent with him so much and know that we would recommend him to any Adoptive or foster family. Counseling is The “make it” or if you choose not it might be “break it” for a successful adoption. Relationships is what it’s all about and a family support through counseling is necessary. You do not need to go it alone at all and think you can. To be quite honest he helped my husband and I probably more than help the children. Our adoptive children are super and amazing and the help that he gives the parents is much needed during the transition. His knowledge and experience is what helps him to be the premier counselor of the Tampa Bay area. Thank you “ Mr. Ed “!
