Cool spot in a really cool area of Lakewood ranch. The food was good not exceptional. My wife and I were looking for a patio and we sat on the deck on a man made pond. Not a bad view at all! Inside looked pretty cool. The place had a vibe for sure. I will definitely go back.

Northern Virginia

The food was amazing! We stopped here for lunch before noon on a Monday in March.

We had a part of four and ordered the Bottomless Chips & Salsa with Beer Cheese. They hit the spot and we ended up getting a second round (for free, since it’s bottomless). The beer cheese really makes it special and was delicious.

Everyone ordered something different for lunch. I ordered the Chop (salad) and really liked it. It had real bacon and the ranch dressing tasted awesome.

My husband ordered the Triple Decker Turkey, my son got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and my daughter got the Classic Burger. See photos. Everyone loved their meal. The fries were great!

We really wanted to eat outside (honestly that never happens, but here the weather was beautiful). But, it was really windy and the sign outside blew over and it was just too windy for us, so we moved inside. The outside seating is plentiful and has a nice view.

I counted tried to count the number of televisions, I got 15 but that might not be accurate. They have a lot of TV’s.

This place had a great vibe.

As far as service, we had to flag down the waitress a couple times, since she didn’t stop by and ask if we wanted more chips/salsa (you could see the beer cheese was gone and salsa was almost empty) and when we were ready for the check. I’d recommend letting the wait staff know that they should check back in more often. The place only had a few tables filled so it wasn’t super busy.

We don’t live in Florida, but would definitely go back to this restaurant next time we visit and highly recommend.

Burgers were the worst I've ever had. 3 out of 4 of us ordered burgers. Mine tasted like cardboard, it was like they used the cheapest frozen burgers they could find. I was quiet and deciding whether or not keep eating when my son - who has never turned down a burger in his life - turned to me and said "I think this is tofu, it can't be real meat, there's must be some mistake". We ended up telling the waitress who was very kind and took them off the bill, but we won't be going back.

Privat

Probably one of the worst foods we have ever had. We got side plates which in part were still greasy…probably from customers before us. The service was decent. We appreciate that we were warned not to take the Mac&Cheese. The waitress should have probably warned us about the food in general. We all had different burgers. None were good, 2 out of 5 of our party weren’t even able to eat theirs. It was just very bad food overall. I highly recommend to skip this one.

We dined here on a Sunday night during football season, and the restaurant wasn’t busy. The service was just okay—nothing particularly memorable or standout. The food was decent but not anything special. Overall, it was a pretty average experience. If you’re looking for something basic and not too crowded, it might be worth a try, but don’t expect anything out of the ordinary.

We live near Upper Manatee Road in Lakewood Ranch. If you're familiar with the area, you know there aren't many restaurant options nearby. I think I've tried almost everything on their menu. The buffalo chicken bowl and fried fish are my favorites. Their food is really good, the service is excellent, and it's a great location to meet with family and friends.

We went here based on the reviews. We were very disappointed. The burgers were below average, dry and tasteless and they were not cooked the way they were ordered. My husband‘s bun was stale and the coleslaw was dry. The fries were good. When you first walk in the place, it just felt greasy dirty to me. The waitress was not very friendly, even though we tried to warm up to her, it didn’t work. We are very easy-going and do not return food. We just don’t go back. This would be a once and done.

DENNIS the MAN!!! We celebrated my daughters birthday at this Ed’s location on 9/28/24. Party of around 25. I spoke with Dennis earlier in the day to verify that he could accommodate us. Man, he went above and beyond. We were greeted nicely, members of the staff (Leah, I believe she was the hostess, and Crystal our server) were expecting us and had our tables ready to go. They treated everyone brilliantly. Accommodated us with the Phillies game on the TV nearest our table, as we had fans from out of town with us at the time. The absolute best was when Dennis arranged to have some folks sing Happy Birthday to my daughter. Turns out most of the Tavern joined in. Couldn’t have planned it better and it really was a special moment for her. Dennis truly made the moment magic. THANK YOU DENNIS!!! The entire staff was also professional, kind, accommodating, helped us enjoy a great outing!
