I deliver equipment into and out of this place usually for Moody equipment. The staff are always eager to help get loaded or unloaded. It's one place I go that I enjoy being there. They've always showed me respect and have allowed me to rest on property sometimes.

Steer clear of them and auction time/ and equipment facts auction services. I wish I could give zero stars. When utilizing their pre bid auction service. I put a bid on an item. 12 hours before the auction even started. When the auction was over, I seen the item sold for that amount. I contacted Ed’s machinery to discuss when to pick it up and they told me they sold it to someone else. For the exact same amount that I pre-bid. Couldn’t believe that happened and they would treat customers that way with shady practices. And the only excuse they could give me was they thought the guy might bid more. They cheated me and the seller.

2 months into owning this skid steer I have yet to be able to use it, because of the sheer amount of issues it has. Issues that could easily have been disclosed by the seller before or during the auction. Auctioneer claimed it was ready to work. This machine was owned and consigned by eds, not a third party, they should definitely have known what shape this machine was in. Quick attach hydraulics don't work. Every bushing on the quick attach plate is about to fall out. Machine was ran with bad bushing for so long, that the plate itself is wallered out and new bushings won't fit. Most of the arm bushings are completely shot, and have so much play in them that the right side of the bucket lifts almost 2" before the left side starts to lift. Right rear wheel is pouring hydraulic fluid out. One tire was off the bead flat when we picked it up, one more was off the bead flat by the time we unloaded it. Brand new tires, stickers still on them, that had been installed on wheels so corroded and covered in mud/rust buildup they can't seat the bead. Rear door won't latch because it's bent, radiator won't stay in place because the quick release latch is completely worn. Missing all but 2 boots holding the belly pay on, handful of other exterior bolts are broken off and stuff just welded together instead. Sold as a 1400 hr machine, no way to prove but has signs of being 5000+. These are all things I would've seen in first 5 minutes of in person inspection, so I share the blame for not looking at it prior as the auction was 7hrs from me. Definitely will avoid doing business with them again if this is how they represent equipment.

Drove 400 miles round trip and bought what was advertised as a 4 yard scraper. After getting home and researching service information I found I had actually purhased a 2 yard scraper.
They were unwilling to negotiate a fair price for the two yard scraper and also unwilling to help out with my fuel cost to then return it. Spent $400.00 on fuel and wasted two days time because they don't know what they're selling. Do your homework before buying from Ed's

Customer service is a fail at this bussiness. They rarely return calls about equipment inquiries. If you need parts from there shop they never call back. May take 3 to 4 days of repeated calling. When you are down in the field this is not pleasant. When you approach them about there terrible sevice they are self centered and put you on hold for 10 min untill the phones cut you off. No respect. Beware some of the equipment that is worn out might get a A+ shine job and a F inspection job! As I have heard from there Customers.
