Hot Hot HOT! If you're shooting out here during the summer be prepared for the HEAT! The location is an extremely cool (pun intended) place to film. I've shot here a number of times and each time I'm in awe of this place in the middle of no where. Plenty of parking near and far from set depending on what kind of shot you need. Definitely be aware of snakes and scorpions and other creepy crawlers!

If you can get past and ignore the extremely rude and foul mouthed caretaker... Note that this is NOT a Public park, this is a BUSINESS; a Film Location that is for Rent to the Studios and Photographers... meaning it's Private Property and NOT a City Park.

Pretty cool spot but don't let the guy in the red truck that tells you. He manages the property to leave. Because in front of the property there is an easement. And what does that mean? You can park on that and take pictures? And I understand it does say no trespassing. If you're not beyond the gate or trying to get into the Building You don't have to call any member to take pictures maybe if you want to film inside or beyond the premises. But if you park on the easement, it is 100% legal. Don't let this man harass you.

Although long closed, fun place to take pics. Can't imagine what it was like back during it's heyday.
